Elemeno Studios Introduces Rock-it®New York – June 20th, 2006 – Upstart development studio Elemeno Studios has officially confirmed its first title, Rock-it® as a full mod of Half-Life 2. Rock-it is a new racing game that is fast-paced and fun, with racers taking to the air in uniquely designed ships that utilize tube-shaped electromagnetic fields as both a power source and track. Rock-it features an innovative control scheme that separates it from any racer to come before it, and its characters are colorful and lively. www.elemenostudios.com The studio is targeting a first release in late Q3. “Rock-it is something that the PC crowd has been missing out on for years,” says lead programmer Andy Eiche. “It’s everything you liked from ‘Wipeout’ mixed with the intensity of ‘StarFox 64’ and the insanity of Mario Kart DS.” “I really think we bring some of the best elements of racing games together here while creating something completely new,” says source leader Terry Edelman. “We’ve got the breakneck speed of the F-Zero series plus the fun factor of a cart racer.
